If you’re on the hunt for treasure hunts or scavenger hunt (and wouldn’t mind the kids being entertained for more than 30 seconds), you’re in the right place. I’ve been creating hunts of all kinds for well over 15 years. When you have two kids and 18 nieces and nephews, you quickly learn that keeping them busy is a survival skill.

I started making scavenger hunts for my own family for my kids’ birthday parties, school holiday fun, and big family holiday get-togethers, you name it. I was making treasure hunts long before I discovered a love of Escape rooms And I love sharing them so you can enjoy them too.

My family does have a bit of a love affair with scavenger hunts. We’ve been doing them since I was a little, and we still run one for pretty much every holiday we can. Even when we’re all grown up and pretending we’re “just doing for the kids.”
There’s a big age gap between some of my siblings, so my older brother used to take charge and create the most epic hunts, especially at Easter and Christmas. No matter what the weather there was always a hunt, and honestly, nothing’s changed.
So I guess you could say putting together hunts isn’t just a fun activity; for us, they’re a full-on family tradition. And I’m proudly carrying it on with the next generation (whether they like it or not!).
