St Patrick's Day Escape Room Hunt

My St. Patrick’s day game kit includes clues, puzzles and other fun activities. Now you can bring the fun of an Escape Room adventure to your St Patrick’s Day celebration without ever leaving your house! Once you print out all the included materials, it’ll be a snap to set up the entire experience. Some prep is required, but it is just cutting out some of the game materials. Then all you need to do is hide all the clues around your house and distribute gold coins along the way. Players will encounter a selection of different puzzles. For some puzzles, the players will need to decipher secret messages and crack ciphers. Plus a few traditional clues to add into the mix..it’s enough to keep everyone busy and entertained for a good hour or so.

What you’ll need:

  • Printer
  • Bright whit card or paper
  • Scissors
  • Clues (download below)
  • A St. Patrick’s Day prize for the end….ideas are below

Why not add a pot of gold at the end of the game filled with gold coins, treats and goodies? If your playing with adults I would definitely add some fun minature whisky or those liqure filled chocolate. You could even create a fab colourful candy charcuterie board. Here are some fun St. Patrick’s day goodies that would be great for the treasure at the end of the game.

what’s included in the St Patrick’s Day Escape Room Hunt?

You will receive 14 ready-to-go clues to use around the house. The clues will lead to common objects found around the home. Places like a fridge, a bedroom, a table and pair of shoes are just a few of the locations. You will also have the opportunity to lead some of the clues to any place of your choosing. So if you have a fab hiding spot or you want to hide a clue outside, you can easily do this.

You will also find a printable certificate, game guide and a few more fun surprises in the kit.

St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun Game

Did I mention that it’s suitable for all ages? That’s right – some assistance may be needed with your youngest adventurers as reading is required (ages 8 and under may need help). Still, everyone will have a blast hunting around the house in the true Irish spirit.

I love using secret codes in my games. This cipher wheel is one of my favourites, it is super fun and easy to use. Players decode their message using the wheel to translate letter in what looks like a scrambled message. I love using activities like this as the games last so much longer than a traditional treasure hunt.

St. Patricks day escape room game for kids

Step the game up a notch and get creative with your decorations: look up some traditional Irish recipes, break out jigging tunes or dress up in festive green attire – why not go all out? This crazy Leprechaun escape room puzzle hunt is a great one-stop solution for mums, parents, and grandparents – anyone looking to add some magical flair and good old-fashioned fun to their holiday festivities!
