What’s Halloween Family Feud?
If you’ve never watched Family Feud, here’s the quick version: two teams face off to guess the most popular answers to fun survey questions. It’s quick, lively, and full of friendly competition. Add a dash of Halloween flair to those questions, and you’ve got the perfect spooky party game.
How to Play Halloween Family Feud at Home
If you’ve watched the show, the idea will be familiar. But here’s a quick (and very doable) way to run it at home if you’ve never seen the game in action:

- Choose a game host
This is your narrator, referee, score-keeper, and dramatic pause specialist, someone who loves the limelight. If you’re playing with kids, this can be a parent, older sibling. - Divide into two teams
Try to keep ages mixed so little ones can get involved too. I love some of the funny answers kids come up with; their brains work on a totally different level. - Ask the question
The host reads the question, and one player from each team tries to ring in first. Just slap a table, or grab an actual bell. If you want to get fancy, you can use these game buzzers. - Reveal the top answers
The game host reveals if the player has the top answers. Points are based on how popular the answer is. The aim is to guess the highest score and win the game board for your team. - Team Game
The team that wins the feud board goes on to try and guess all the top answers. Each player in the team takes a turn to guess an answer. They have three lives, and the team will lose a life if they fail to find a top answer. Lose all three lives and the other team steals the board and has a chance to guess.
That’s it. Easy, fast, and simple to play.
