HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN ACTIVITIES

How many days are there until Halloween? All I know is that I can’t wait until the big day. As soon as the kids go back to school they already planning everything to do with Halloween. I’m very last minute with this blog post, as usual, the time ran away with me until I realised that October is just a couple of days away! How did that happen!

I made the countdown kit a while back but I totally forgot about it until this morning! Ahh well hopefully someone will still get some use of the kit this year lol.

So my plan for the Halloween countdown activities kit was that you print out the envelopes and place an activity card inside.  Each day you open a new envelope.

The activities range from things like watching a Halloween film, making cookies, going to a pumpkin patch or learning the dance to thriller.  There is a plain activity sheet printable so you can make your own activities too.

Just print the envelopes and activity cards and you are all set for some fun activities all month long. Building up to the big event on October 31st.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR COUNTDOWN

You totally don’t have to do an activity every day. Let’s face it most of us don’t have the time or, to be fair, the inclination. Double thumbs up, though if you are going the whole hog and planning the full 31 days of activities, I salute you.

I would suggest that you choose activities you know your kids will love and are best for you. Watching films and reading books are easy to plan into your week. Other activities like baking or treasure hunts that take more prep are probably best to schedule for the weekend.

I have included plain envelopes to just print out the colours/patterns you like and add your numbers if you wish.
