This 4th of July bingo game is perfect for passing the time while waiting for the hotdogs and burgers to cook on the grill! It’s the perfect July 4th activity for the whole family!

Everyone in my family loves a game of bingo. We always have silly prizes for the winners. We are a bit daft in our family; sometimes, the prizes are things that are REALLY rubbish, haha. Fun prizes are things like gift vouchers a big bar of chocolate, or a fun toy. But sometimes, your bingo prize with be a sachet of ketchup or a band-aid. It’s a bit like bingo Russian roulette. I love it when someone wins the toot prizes; it’s hilarious. All the excitement of winning only to be awarded with a tomato sauce sachet.

The game is really easy for children to play without an adult as the bingo is decided by the roll of a dice. No adult is required, lol. This is perfect if you want to keep the kiddos entertained while you prepare some delicious food or just want to catch up with friends and family. Even the tiniest guest can participate by being the chief dice roller. All they need to do is hold up the dice so everyone can see what has been rolled.

HOW TO PLAY 4TH OF JULY BINGO

  • The pictures called are decided by the roll of the dice.
  • Have one person who is the caller; it is their job to roll the dice and call out the letters and picture combination.
  • Anyone with the picture and the corresponding letter on their card should cover it up

HOW TO WIN JULY 4TH BINGO

There are a few options on how a player can win bingo.
A winner is declared if:
1. They cover all four corners of their card.
2. They have covered a straight line.
3. They have covered a diagonal line.
4. They have covered a T-shape
5. They have a full house.

Make sure everyone knows what type of bingo they’re playing before the start of the game. In the printable kit, you will find a page you can print out with some suggestions for layouts. Print this out to have on hand to show to players. Choose a simple pattern if you are playing with little’uns for example five in a row wins!
