Ahoy, me hearty!

Are you hosting a pirate party? There is no doubt that some party themes never go out of fashion, and a pirate party is most definitely a classic! With your swashbuckling party choice, you can set the scene with some fun pirate party posters. I love to theme my parties, and these printable posters are an easy way to add that piratey feel.

Vintage pirate posters with red stipe background

For these pirate printables, I went for a vintage feel as it was for adults and children. I didn’t want to go too cutsie with the overall style. I created a rustic-looking paper effect with a background of red stripes. I purchased some vintage fonts and created a few posters that would work well for our party.

In the kit I have put together, I created some posters that I hope will be useful. Hook toss, walk the plank and treasure chest are all fun to display. The tavern poster would be fun to display at a cocktail or juice bar. My favourite is the scallywag swag, which is perfect for a party favour table.

WHAT PIRATE POSTERS ARE INCLUDED?

Altogether, there are 16 ready-made posters for you to print out. If you don’t see the sign you are looking for, you can always use the editable templates to make your own. Make welcome signs and include birthday greetings and personalised messages.

FUN PIRATE PARTY FAVOURS

For a children’s party, here are some fun party favours.  If nothing else a bag of chocolate gold coins are going to be a fab addition. Bulk out your party favor bags with pirate-themed colouring pages, bookmarks and notepages that you could print out and assemble at home.

  • Pirate inflatable swords The inflatable swords can be used during the part; guests can take them away with them.
  • 12 Gold Bar Dig Bricks  The gold bricks are absolutely fab, they come with tools for kids to excavate some fool’s gold. There are 12 in a box so you will have to separate them out to place inside the favour bags.
  • Skull Bracelets  I would wear these haha. A nice addition to your favor bag.
  • Low Sugar Sweet Fish  I like to add sweets into my favor bags and for those that want a low-sugar option these fish are a perfect option.
  • Skull Tumbler These would be a great practical option instead of a favor bag pop al your treats inside the cup!

I don’t often create adult favours unless it is for a big event. Weddings, and milestone birthdays. For a pirate party, you could buy mini bottles of rum and add a thank you tag. You can even buy empty bottles on Amazon that you can fill with your speciality cocktail.
