Are you looking for a fun Easter activity for the little’uns in your life? I put together this cute easter memory game to keep them entertained while still helping them do some brain training at the same time.
There are 24 cute Easter themed cards, featuring cute chicks, easter bunnies and butterflies. You can just print out two sets of cards to play the memory game or perhaps a game of snap or print out four sets to play games like go fish.
Easter is another excellent time to get together with friends and family. A time for good food, good company and of course games. My sister and I used to play these memory games with a regular pack of cards when we were little. Considering this is a simple game we would spend hours playing!
I love making printables, and for this year, to keep some of the littlest members of the family entertained, I put together an Easter themed set of cards to play a simple memory game. I could, of course, use a regular pack of cards, but heck, I have photoshop, and I’m not afraid to use it.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
You won’t need anything fancy to make your Easter game. Grab the printable, some paper or card and get printing. If you would like to make your Easter memory game last a little longer, then I would suggest that you laminate the cards.

- Bright White Paper or Card
- Scissors
- Laminating pouches (optional)
HOW TO MAKE YOUR EASTER MEMORY GAME
Step 1: Download & Print
Grab the printable Easter memory cards. OPen the file up on your computer. To make the game you will need to print out a minimum of two sets of cards. I like to use cardstock, but regular copy paper will do the job. You can go ahead and print out more copies of the easter memory game cards and use them to play simple card games like “Go Fish”.
Tip: To make these last longer, laminate the cards.

Step 2 (optional): Print on the Reverse of the Cards
If your anything like me you will want to make the back of your Easter memory cards look pretty! iI have you covered, you will also find a backing sheet available in the download. You will need to run the printed cards back through your printer.
Print the patterned backing paper to the reverse of the cards. This is of course totally optional, I can’t help myself and like to make my cards look pretty on both sides.
Step 3: Cut Out Your Cards
Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut out your Easter memory game cards. With all of your cards cut out and prepared you are ready to play. All that you will need to do is follow the instructions to play!
How do you play memory games?
- Mix up the cards.
- Lay them in rows, face down.
- Turn over any two cards.
- If the two cards match, keep them…and go again.
- If they don’t match, turn them back over. Now it’s another player’s turn.
- Remember what was on each card and where it was.
- Watch and remember during the other player’s turn.
- The game is over when all the cards have been matched, whoever has the most matched pairs wins!
How many players can play?
You can play with as many people as you like. It is even a great solo game. Children will learn to build memory recall. Playing with others will always be more fun, so a friendly battle between 2-4 players is ideal. As it is Easter, you can award a small gift as a prize to the winner.
