Hosting a classroom valentines day party?

I might be a little bit biased, but I think my Cupid Poop and Cupid Fart Valentines day treat toppers are just TOO DARN ADORABLE. I don’t know if your kiddies’ school does this, but at my kids school the whole class will send a Valentine’s to each other. I think it’s quite a sweet tradition. It is another thing, as parents, we have to prepare!

I made a Cupid poop treat topper a few years ago but decided to update it to something a little more fun. The cupid fart is probably my favourite, and the kids think it is hilarious, so that’s a win-win in my book.

This is so easy to put together. Grab yourself some bright white card stock, a pair of scissors and, fire up the printer. You can tie the cupid fart tags to bags of sweets or grab yourself some clear cello bags and fill them up with goodies. I used marshmallows and candy floss for mine.

Easy Valentine’s Classroom Gift

These make adorable gifts for your Valentine’s Day classroom party. If you have young kids, you will probably have been approached by the school to volunteer to be the “class mum” (I’m sure other names are given to this role). I was one of those mad women who actually volunteered and wasn’t shamed into doing it, haha.

Anyhoo, in this role, one of the jobs was to plan and arrange the terms party, including party food, decorations and party favors, and that, my friends, is why I agreed to do it! I love any excuse to plan a party! So if you are that poor soul who needs something last-minute party favor, I definitely recommend making these.

Assembling the treat topper

Start by cutting out your cupid treat topper. I used a bright white card stock to print them out on. Next, fill clear cellophane bags with cotton candy, mini marshmallows, or any other treat you fancy using.

I used domed treat bags by Wilton. Then, simply tape the cellophane treat bag to the back of the cupid printable. I created a quick video of assembling this Valentine’s cotton candy treat. You can see it HERE.

Super Easy to Put together

With all the cutting out done it is just an assembly job, filling your bags, sealing and attaching the cupid tag. This is something you can get the kids to help you with, get a little assembly line going on.
