Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovebirds, it can absolutely be for families too! Celebrate the day together with your kids and save the evening for some time alone with just you and your other half. Don’t worry, these fun valentines games are super-simple and take little time and prep because we all have super busy lives! Having a group get-together? Try out some of these fun Valentine’s Day games guaranteed laughs!
What’s your Cupid Name?
I love these fun what’s your name activities. They are definitely cause for a lot of giggles, this is probably my favourite one to date. I couldn’t stop chuckling to myself as I was making up some of the silly names. This would be such a fun warm-up game for a classroom valentine’s party. What’s your cupid name?
Valentine’s, Would You Rather
Valentine’s Day Would You Rather is a fun game that can be set up in a few minutes and is great for playing outdoors or indoors. The game begins by asking two questions, such as “Would you rather kiss a prince or snuggle with a snake?” Players answer the questions, either secretly or out loud, and then everyone takes turns guessing what the other players would choose. After all of the guesses have been taken, the answers are revealed, and the player who guessed the most correctly is the winner. Not only does this game provide some lighthearted entertainment, but it can also result in some hilarious answers.
Valentine’s Tic-Tac-Toe Trick-Or-Treat Game
This is a valentine’s tic tac toe game with a twist. Instead of just placing your markers onto the game board, you have to follow the rules on the game boards. Players will pick up, swap and steal candy in this fun, family-friendly Valentine’s game. Hershey kisses or any kind of fun valentine’s candy would be a fab addition to this game.
Valentine’s Word Scramble
There are eighteen words to unscramble on the list. Set a timer and see who can unscramble 10 valentine’s words in the fastest time. If you have younger players, you can have them buddy up with an adult or adjust the timing. I like to award points to players who unscramble the most words. There is an answer key in the kit, so you don’t need to worry about figuring out the answers. This game definitely works best if everyone is trying to figure out the words at the same time.
Valentine’s Day Candy Dice, Roll and Cover Game
Players follow the directions on the dice printable sheet. Rolling a die to determine if they steal, swap or pick up candy and place it on their game board. Each player starts the game with 3 pieces of candy, I used cute valentine’s Hershey’s kisses, but m&m’s would work a treat too. In case you do not have any dice, there is also a printable one included in the kit. Whoever fills their candy game board first is the winner. Everyone gets to eat their candy at the end, so everyone is a winner.
I recommend for best results, you print out these party games onto card stock. Bright white card will give you a really nice finish. You can laminate the game boards, especially if you are going to use this as a classroom activity.
Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger hunts are great fun, and there are two different ones in the valentines day game bundle. The first is simply finding an object that begins with each letter of the word “valentine”. You can decide if players need to collect the items or write the object they found on the sheet. Grab yourself a timer and watch as the players run around searching for the items.
The second valentines scavenger hunt requires the players to take a photo of the items on the list. Everyone is awarded points for each of the items they photograph. This is a fun game that can be played in teams or individually. This is a fun valentines day game for teens. They can wander around with the phones attached to them, all while taking selfies with some silly items, win win!

Which Valentines Game Will You Play?
There are plenty of valentines games included in the party kit to play. Pick one or play them all! The kids will love getting involved and enjoy playing the party games. If you have young kids, you can keep them entertained for hours by printing out two sets of picture cards in the kit and letting them play memory games. Print the cards onto card stock, and I would even laminate them, and you can use the cards over and over again, not just for valentines day.
