FUN HALLOWEEN TREASURE HUNT IDEA

Halloween is getting closer, and I love it. The spooky season brings out the big kid in me. As a family, we all meet up, play games, and eat a lot of goodies on the big night! Halloween doesn’t pass in our house without a good ‘ole Halloween treasure hunt.
I have been busy creating lots more fun printables for Lock Paper Escape. I love having the kids solve puzzles and using their brains a little bit. The kit has been put together so you can easily organise a Halloween treasure hunt for your own children, but without the stress of having to think up clues, I’ve done all the hard work for you.
Fun New Treasure Hunt Game
I wanted to create a fun new take on a traditional treasure hunt. And so I created a Halloween-themed picture font and set about making a Halloween decoder wheel. The Halloween game has the players decoding the font pictures to reveal the location of their clue.

Instead of rhyming clues leading from one location to another, the players need to use the wheel to solve the hidden word. I love this idea as is such a fun spin on a traditional treasure hunt!
There are 18 already done for you clues that you can print out and use. However if you want to mix things up a little and you have tiny cubby holes or fun places to hide clues, you can use the online kit to create even more clues that lead your players to those fun spots! Super easy to do, and you will end up with a really original Halloween treasure hunt.
