A Wizard Treasure Hunt: A Puzzle-Based Game for Harry Potter Fans

To prepare for the treasure hunt, you will need printable clues, a printer and paper, and a surprise prize or treasure for the end of the game. The printable clues are available for download at the bottom of this post.

I recommend printing the wizard treasure hunt clues on white card stock to make them more durable, but you can also print them on regular paper. The prize can be anything you like, something Harry Potter themed would obviously be good. A goody box filled with wizard treats or perhaps a reveal for a trip to Harry Potter world.

What types of clues are there?

The puzzles and ciphers in this treasure hunt include Morse code, Braille, and a wizard’s code, among others. Each clue leads to the next clue until the players reach the final destination where the surprise prize awaits. Here are some of the different types of codes used in the wizard game.
