Make Valentine’s Day Unforgettable with a Puzzle Treasure Hunt for Your Kids!
Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romance—it’s also a wonderful opportunity to show your little ones some love and create cherished memories as a family. This year, why not plan something extraordinary? A Valentine’s Day Puzzle Treasure Hunt is the perfect way to keep your kids entertained, engaged, and full of smiles!
What Is a Valentine’s Day Puzzle Treasure Hunt?
This treasure hunt is a fun mix between an escape room and a scavenger hunt, designed specifically for young kids. Packed with vibrant, colorful puzzles, it’s a printable game you can set up in minutes. Children will use their problem-solving skills to crack codes, solve riddles, and follow clues that eventually lead to a sweet surprise. Whether you’re hosting it for your own children or planning a small group activity with friends or classmates, this game is guaranteed to make Valentine’s Day extra special.
What Types of Puzzles Are Included?
There are twelve different ready-made puzzles. One of the puzzles is a simple maths problem. Players work out a simple addition or subtraction problem and the number they find represents a letter. Solve all the maths problems and a word is revealed. You can give the players a calculator to help them, better still lock the calculator and the clue inside a box first. They have to solve a simple puzzle to open the box first.
Other puzzles use different ciphers, “braille”, “morse code” and “pig pen” all make an appearance. These are fun to solve. There are a few mini mazes and a clever cipher wheel. Plenty of different types of puzzles to keep the kid’s brains firing.
If you feel one of the puzzles is a little too tricky, you can simply leave that one out of your treasure hunt. There is no set order for how the puzzles must be played, leaving you free to plan your own route.
Why Parents (and Kids!) Love This Treasure Hunt
One parent’s review says it all:
“This game was brilliant. We loved it, played with 4-8 yr olds. Easy to print and set up. Lovely graphics, so colorful. Loved all the clues, really got the grandkids thinking. Dawn was very helpful, I would highly recommend. I will definitely be purchasing more games in the future. Thank you 😍”

- Simple Setup: Download, print, and hide the clues. No complicated prep required.
- Age-Appropriate Challenges: The game has been designed with kids aged 8+ in mind. The puzzles are fun and engaging without being too difficult. Older kids can help younger players or make it a family activity where everyone gets involved.
